Airport!
Updated: May 30, 2023
Out of the 13 people who were at the sleepover, 8 people were able to come to the airport with me and Jake. My host family took my suitcases to the airport by car, but me and my friends rode the train together so we could keep hanging out. I said goodbye to some of my friends while on the train, but it wasn't until I was at the airport and had to say goodbye to the rest of them that I started crying. I really loved all my classmates, and I felt that I was able to create a strong connection with them. I hope that I'm able to keep in touch with them and will be able to visit them sometime in the near future. I was also grateful for my friends who also cried in the airport, because I'm very happy that I was able to provide a meaningful experience for them. Jake and I were able to get onto our flight, however it arrived late to Texas, so we missed our connecting flight. The rest of the flights were full, so we went from Japan to Texas to North Carolina to New York City. It was a long journey, and when i got home I slept for the next 15 hours.
Memories..
