Last Day at Kogakuin (Day 16)
Updated: May 30, 2023
I was so incredibly sad that this was my last day at Kogakuin. It did not feel like my last day at all, so I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that I would be leaving the next day. I only had 4 classes today because it was a Saturday, so after school the whole class threw me and Jake a goodbye party and then we had a sleepover at my host sister's house. I said goodbye to all my teachers. I really loved Ms. Nakagawa, who helped organize my exchange. She was so easy to talk to and so cool. My favorite fact about her is that she rides a motorcycle. Before the party, my friend and I went back to my host sister's house and we got ready, but my host sister and a different friend left to get me and Jake a cake. When we arrived to the party, we found out we were going to be doing karaoke. I suck at singing, but I still had so much fun. My host sister was so incredibly talented. I'm really happy I was able to get to. know my classmates better and make a fun memory one last time. During the sleepover, we played video games, watched TV, ate snacks, and talked. We figured that it would be a waste to go to sleep since we would have to leave early the next day to go to the airport. I love my class a lot and I'm really grateful to be able to have this experience.
👍whatta trip!
