On day 5 of Golden Week, I went to the Chinatown in Yokohama with my host sister, Jake, and his host brother. First, we went to an observatory, and we looked at the pretty views of Yokohama before heading to the Chinatown. The Chinatown was really crowded despite the fact that we went to a less crowded area. We ate a lot of delicious food such as Peking duck, fried chicken, fried squid kebabs, panda red bean buns, bubble tea, and pork buns. There were also a bunch of performances going on in the middle of the street, and I saw a Chinese dragon dance. Afterwards, we went to Minatomirai and rode the huge ferris wheel. The wait was two hours long, but the view was really pretty so it was worth it. I've never been to Yokohama before, and I really enjoyed it. I would definitely go back and explore the other places.
