Golden Week Day 6 (Saitama)
Updated: May 30, 2023
On my sixth day of Golden Week, my friends and I went bowling and to a sports/game center in Saitama. The last time I bowled was a very very long time ago with my friends from Japanese school and I thought I wasn't going to be very good, so I was surprised to start the game off with a strike. We played two games and I was in last place for the first game, but I improved and moved to second place the second game. After we bowled, we went to a nearby udon place. Despite being in Japan for a while, I hadn't eaten udon at all and I really love udon, so I was happy to be able to eat it with my friends. After we finished eating, we went to the sports center called Spocha Round One Stadium. I've heard about it, but I've never actually went, so I was very curious what it would be like. I'm not a huge sports person, but I was still able to have a lot of fun. We did things such as basketball, badminton, pool, rollerblading, and much more. My favorite activity was the rollerblading because I've always wanted to do it but never got the chance. It was a little harder than I thought it would be, but I got the hang of it. It was sort of like ice skating. After we left the sports center (we were there for three hours), we went to eat sushi for dinner. I got to know some classmates I haven't really talked to before and became really close with them, so I was grateful to be able to go to Saitama, which is another prefecture, and also hang out with new people.
The sports center looks awesome.
