Golden Week Day 9 (Enoshima)
Updated: May 30, 2023
This was the last day of Golden Week, so I was really sad. It was raining very heavily, so my friends and I decided to go to an aquarium in Enoshima. I hadn't been to an aquarium in ages, so I was pretty excited to go. The aquarium we went to had a bunch of different kinds of fish, but it also had a fish petting area, a capybara area, and a dolphin show. I got to pet this shark looking fish, and it was a combination of slimy, rough, and squishy, which was so weird. I really enjoyed it though. I also really loved the capybara section. I'm not sure what capybaras have to do with aquariums, but it was my first time seeing one in real life, so I got really excited. The dolphin show was okay. The dolphins just did a couple tricks and splashed water everywhere. After we finished looking around at everything, we went to a nearby shrine on a mountain and got our palms read and ate dango. I had an interesting reading. The palm reader said that from the lines of my palm, she could see that I'm a kind person and I can be a leader, but tend to underestimate my abilities, which leads me to back out of things. She also said that I have many branches in my work line, which means that I have the capability to do many different kinds of lines of work. it was only a 5 minute reading, so she didn't go in too much detail. When we ate dango, because of the pouring rain, the sauce got everywhere on our clothes, and it was not a very smart idea. We decided to head home, and visit our friend's house. We ended up playing video games and then we went to an udon place for dinner. I had a lot of fun during my last day of Golden Week, and I was really grateful for all the experiences I was able to have that week.
Lucky you. I would like to pet a fish.
