I was so incredibly sad that it was already my last week in Japan. Time flew by so quickly, and I was really close with my whole class, so I didn't want to leave. The day before, we switched seats because the class always switches their seating arrangements. The seating chart was created randomly, but I still ended up getting a really good seat. My friends were all in the seat in front, next to, and behind me. We started sitting in our new arrangements from this day, so I had much more fun in my classes. I also started studying for the Kanji tests we had everyday with my friends, so my scores started improving a lot. I went from getting 16/24 to 21/25 to 24/24. Afterschool, I helped Jake interview our classmates for his project. I listened to everyone as they were interviewed, and it was really interesting hearing all their responses. I'm really looking forward to Jake's project. I made plans to hang out with my friends after school for the next few days, but this day I just went to band club. Since it was Tuesday, I was able to go for the full two hours and I had so much fun. My friend in the band club and I just freestyled instead of practicing drum beats like we always do. He played the drums and I played the electric guitar. We ended playing nonstop for an hour, and only stopped because it was time to clean up. My thumb was so numb afterwards, but I loved our jam session. I wish we were able to do it again.
