Weekend Activities- Disney Sea

Jake and his host brother invited me and my host sister to go to Disney Sea with them during the weekend. We were debating whether to go to Disney Sea or Disney Land, but we decided to go to Disney Sea because there's only one Disney Sea in the world, but there are more than one Disney Land. I woke up at 5:00 am to get ready, because we planned to get there at opening time and we live 2 hours away. A fun fact that I learned was that even though we are going to Tokyo Disney Sea, the theme park isn't actually in Tokyo, but in Chiba Prefecture. We started the day by buying matching headbands and then headed over to ride the Tower of Terror. Jake's host brother is afraid of rollercoasters so he insisted on holding our stuff and waiting outside, but we told him that he had to ride all the rides with us and we wouldn't go without him. The Tower of Terror had to be my second favorite ride, and it was so much fun, but I was a little disappointed about how short the actual ride was. We rode other rides such as the Transit Steamer Ride, Raging Spirits (my first time riding a roller coaster with a 360 degree loop), the Indiana Jones roller coaster, Sinbad's Storybook Voyage, Jumpin Jellyfish, the Whirlpool (similar to the spinning teacups), Journey to the Center of the Earth, Jasmine's Flying Carpet, and the Tower of Terror (again!). We also explored the scenery of the park and ate lunch together. My personal favorite section of the theme park was Ariel's homeland because of how beautifully lit up it was. We also tried many different snacks such as mochi that looked like the little green men from Toy Story, churros, caramel popcorn, and Mickey Mouse Tiramisu ice cream. I had so much fun and I got to know Jake and my Japanese classmates very well, which made me glad to be able to have this experience. We stayed at the park from opening to closing, so Jake and I finished the day off by watching the parade while our host brother and sister went to a different attraction. The parade was probably one of my favorite things at the park, and I loved seeing all the different characters such as Elsa, Moana, Rapunzel, and Aladdin and Jasmine sing and perform on the lake. It was a very fun, and tiring day, and I was not sure I would be able to wake up at 5 am again the next morning to go to school (haha).

Disney Sea looks amazing. It's wonderful that you were able to spend the whole day there. What a fun filled day.
